The Original Pickle Barrel in Bozeman has been owned by Ken and Kerry Olson established in1974.
The original shop is located at 809 West College across from the Montana State University in an old barbershop. Attached to the barbershop building is an old house that was renovated in the mid 80's and houses the ice cream (Wilcoxson's, made in Livingston, MT) soup and dessert shop.
The sandwiches are state and maybe even "world reknowned". All are large and made to order with bread baked daily and fresh ingredients prepared daily. Customers come back year after year even after moving to other states. They bring their families and friends to experience a Pickle Barrel sandwich.
